General course content
The aim of Naturologics is to find, understand, recognize and see nature, (also) in your patient, as the one and only healing mechanism. To be able to understand & see how to support the healing mechanism, and have it thrive and prosper in each and every unique individual.
Our Naturologics traject kicks off with 4 weekends of basic evolutionary physiology. Osteopathic evolutionary physiology, with a practical approach.
In a chronological build up from biochemistry through cells, tissues and organs, we will end up with the organism ‘Homo sapiens sapiens’.
We wil help you to understand what is happening in chemical, cellular, histological and organic dimensions of your patient. We will even offer you a real-time living picture. A microscopic view, on cellular level, looking for intercellular (sub)microscopic dynamics, looking at tissue samples to understand what is happening in the deeper dimensions. Seeing how trajectories, pathways and patterns are formed in the deeper dimensions, recognizing these and starting to see the principles throughout all dimensions, is an important aspect of Naturologics. Learning to test and apply correct diagnostics (anamnesis, percussion, auscultation, palpation, blood analyses, …) to recognize and see nature and distinguish health, from disease and pathology. Finding and seeing the principles of Naturologics at work with and in your patients, restoring health with all means necessary.

In the next 4 chapters (weekends), we continue and even sharpen our scrutinizing approach, diving a ‘little’ deeper into an orthomolecular medicine world, exploring realms like (ia.):
In these ‘orthomolecular’ weekends we will no longer keep our eyes wide-shut, and go beyond the territory off the first 4 ‘physiologic’ weekends. Previously you should have already gotten a living picture of your cells, tissues and organs. Now, we leap on, you’ll learn how to functionally improve the issues and organs with nutrition and specific suppletion. Not only visible under the microscope, also ‘scientifically’ measurable in blood analysis. This will give you and your patient a nice chronological representation of the evolution she/he is going through. You will not only see your patient recover, improve and progress in life, but it will also show ‘in the figures’ of their blood analyses.
We will teach you how to approach your patient nutritionally & orthomolecular, supporting digestion & enhancing absorption, to built-on and improve the essence of nature in each and every individual. Not only will we be discussing and talking about nutrition and diets, you’ll get hands-on experience. We will teach you how to calculate your patients metabolic potential, which will give you a reference frame to follow their progression, even give you information about how they are (not) following up your advices. It will also help you how to proceed in future sessions / phases with your patients. We will talk about the markers in standard and advanced blood analyses indicating aspects of the nutritional & orthomolecular condition of your patient. In addition to this more theoretical part, from the 3rd weekend on we will also start with a hands-on cooking ‘workshop’ on Saturday evenings. We will cook and eat together, experimenting and experiencing the ideas we talk and have talked about in the lectures.

We will build on these scientific approaches to venture even further in the next 2 weekends of advanced diagnostics. Here we’ll look at the skin, as a canvas holding the portrait of the underlying inner or connective tissues. You will learn to see the markers that indicate issues in Mucosal Membranes, Basement membranes, recognize the onset and advanced ravages of ongoing inflammations, determine the condition of the inner tissues, the stress in connective tissue, just to name a few… And of course, you will learn how to manage these conditions and support nature in her healing abilities.
We will hand you tools in diagnostics for when to refer your patient to a dermatologist or another specialist. When things have advanced too far and require complementary help, we need to know when to ring the alarm bell. If a system is on the border of mutating toward cancerous processes we need to be able to recognize that and know how to respond and act. These are all topics we will be discussing in these weekends.

Following our advanced diagnostics we have the last 2 ( optional ) chapters concerning the osteopathic approach in Visceral and -of course- the Cranio.Vertebral.Sacral system. Here we focus -hands on- how to (not only) recognize trajectories and pattern(s) of strain, but also how to take those out. How to improve the final key element, circulation according to its natural, evolutionary hierarchy and chronology!!! And this throughout all dimensions, from organ, to tissue, through cells and ending again with the sub-cellular dynamics we already discussed in the first weekends.
The previous weekends we worked on nutritional intake and orthomolecular fine-tuning, checked for shortcomings in digestion and learned how to support these issues. In the next phase we focused on improving and optimizing absorption, recognizing the (subtle) clinical signs the body is giving us, and this through simple observations and diagnostics.
Finally we have arrived at the point where an osteopath needs to excel and shine !!!
At this point, we will now focus on how the vital basic biochemical building blocks, coming from our nutrition, processed in the GIT, absorbed in the system, will be transported throughout the entire body, to be implemented in its structures, to help nature do the actual healing. An osteopath is posed, par excellence, to find and fix even the minor alterations and differentiations in circulation throughout the entire body. We will train you to feel, find and solve the different patterns of strain in all tissues we encounter. We will even go at least one step further, and teach you how to check for the advent of trajectories that will (if not taken out) alter the structures in tissues / organs, and hand you ways to prevent changes in structure and form. Again, all to just support the healing effect of nature...
Practical information
These course weekends can only be followed in their chronological order.
Each seminar consists of 3 days(Friday - Sunday).
On Friday & Saturday, class will start at 9.00am and end at ± 5.00-6.00pm.
On Sunday, class will end a bit earlier, we aim for 2.00-3.00pm, but it depends on questions as well as group dynamics and interactions.
These schedules can still be subject to change.
Important: the lectures will be in DUTCH!
Cooking workshops:
From the third weekend on, we will get together for some cooking-workshops. Starting Saturday afternoon and proceeding into the evening. We’ll be experimenting, and experiencing the topics we are discussing in Naturologics.
Among others;
- Soups&Juices
- How to ferment
- Dissociated nutrition
- Keto & Carnivorous diets
… will reveil their secrets to you. We will all learn and experiment how to prepare food and use nutrition as a basic pillar in health management. Surely, it wouldn’t be orthomolecular medicine if we would not hand you some ways to even improve this nutritional approach... These workshops will give you real-life experiences, help you to better advise your patients, and quickly deal with possible issues. Some tips and tricks can be very simple, but require some practical insights…
For sure this is more than just cooking and eating, it is an invitation for a sociable get-together, where we can all learn from each other. The idea we have at Naturologics, is not only to provide cutting-edge education, but also to experience our ideas & insights. When we talk about the biochemistry and the physical issues a patient has, we also need to see and address the emotional, psychological components. Naturologics isn’t shying away from this last component. We think that our seminars & workshops can release some (educational and real-life) stress, possibly providing an alternative view on topics, ideas and life, discussing all of this in a different setting, or not… and just have a good evening (think blue zones).
These workshops are constructed to provide and offer the possibility to get to know one another, so positive and fruitful interdisciplinary cooperations between all of us can grow and prosper...
Cost:
557,85 excl. VAT/seminar. You will receive an invoice per year.
All prizes include an extensive digital syllabus and other interesting PDF's (bring USB drive); materials necessary for classes & cooking workshops such as microscopes, tissue sample slides,... but also cooking ingredients (where possible fresh, seasonal, local), coffee, tea & water during breaks, some snacks during the breaks, lunch and of course the cooking workshop dinner.
Course & Cooking Workshops Location:
We found an ideal location in Limburg, Diepenbeek. We have chosen a quiet and relaxed place away from stressy city centers.
Here we will be able to dial in and focus much easier on the topics at hand. This all, in a very casual and rustic setting, which opens up and improves dialogues, deepens interaction, while creating a unique learning experience.
Stepping away from solely ex-cathedra lecturing, we will stimulate and invite you to speak up and give your input, making Naturologics a unique and a one-of-a-kind experience.
The venue is not only equipped with modern digital electronics to support the learning experience, it also features a super functional, professional kitchen/cooking facility, ideal for our Saturday evening cookery.
